HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY.
It is so easy to underestimate your growth until you look back at where you began your journey.
I am so grateful to have been blessed with the opportunities I have been in such a short space of time.
I have met so many inspiring people, explored and travelled to so many places.
But it took time for me to be where I am today.
Even though I am not where I envision myself for my future,
I know I am closer than I was when I first started.
I am frequently asked "How to grow through social media" so I thought I'd share some tips.

TIP #1
Always be yourself.
People will appreciate your individuality as this is what makes you unique.
Try not to change yourself to fit to societies expectations of what is currently in fashion or what slogan you should be using. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it.
TIP #2
Be creative, this can go for the clothes you wear or the way you take your pictures.
There are millions of bloggers and social media icons who want to be noticed.
What makes you different? What makes you stand out?
TIP #3
Respect yourself.
Do not let the pressure of social media influence you into sharing things with the world you aren't comfortable with to gain attention. As much as I love social media, I still like to keep certain parts of myself to myself. It makes you a lot more interesting if you do not reveal everything about yourself to the world.

Quality over Quantity.
The quality of your post really depict your personality and character.
Invest your time into making sure it is to a high standard.
You attract what you reflect.
TIP #5
Have fun, do it with passion and love.
I am a student so at times it can be hard to balance both blogging and studying.
But when I am in my element, it is something that can really allow my mind to wander.
Create your blog out of passion rather than with intentions of being a somebody.
I've learnt in life that money really cannot buy you happiness.
As much as materialistic items are fun in the moment, they will only give you happiness in that moment.
Let blogging be fun by capturing and sharing your story with the world.
On your journey, remember to never compare yourself to others.
You will be blessed with opportunities in different ways compared to someone else.
This does not decrease your value nor does it improve your situation.
"One reason we struggle with insecurity: we're comparing our behind the scenes to everyone else's highlights"

Always surround yourself with love.
Doing something different from everyone else may fuel other people's jealousy.
But your real and true friends will support you regardless.
Thank you all for being so supportive and allowing me to grow.
I appreciate you all so much, you do not go unnoticed.
Thank you to Melissa Gibbs for the photography!
