2O14 | THE YEAR OF CREATION.
Not only for Happy Froday but for myself.
I have created someone who I am happy to be.
Through acceptance of my flaws, I was able to grow into who I am today.
I wanted to share some of the things which I have learnt this year.

This year I learnt the importance of time.
Time is precious, your time is precious.
Do not waste it with people who do not appreciate you.
Just because someone desires you, it does not mean they value you.
When I began to embrace myself I noticed I was losing a lot of people around me.
I lost them and found myself.

Stop comparing where you are at with where everyone else is.
It does not move you further ahead, improve your situation or help you find peace.
It just feeds your shame, fuels your feelings of inadequacy and ultimately.
The reality is that there is no-one with a correct path in life.
Everyone is at their own unique journey.
I must admit, at the beginning of my journey as a blogger my main intentions were to be popular.
Like everyone else, I wanted to have loads of followers and be recognised.
I began to doubt my journey because it wasn't happening as quickly as everyone else's.
Once I decided to use the negativity and turn it into positivity, I found myself in places I could only dream of. What you need to realise is, everyone has their own story.
Your chapter will be different to someone else's.
We all evolve at our own rate and in our own way.

Enjoy now. This is something I am still learning.
Sometimes I become too focused on my career and my future I forget to have fun.
I have the most fun meeting new people, travelling and doing all the things I love.
But I do not want to look back and regret not being as adventurous as I should've been.
Technology is great but sometimes we forget to enjoy the real world.
I learnt to value the quality time someone is giving to you.
It is more important than speaking to someone through pixels.
On my radio show interview on Break London, I was asked about the pressures on social media.
I always advise to people that what you post is a reflection of you and you do not know who is watching.
They'll be nothing exciting for you to share to people in the real world if you reveal everything you do.

2O14 TAUGHT ME.
Always be yourself.
Never give up on your dreams.
Be kind to everyone you meet.
Wear what you feel.
Respect your uniqueness.
Take Selfie's.
Accept the change you cannot change.
Go on adventures, explore your city.
Think before you speak.
Spread love and light.
Thank you for continuing to read my blog!
I appreciate your support so much.
In the last nine months I have achieved things I used to dream about.
Happy Holidays! I'll see you in 2O15.
Thank you Michael Collins for the photography.
Thank you Melissa Gibbs for the photo edits.
love & light,
